Gabby's has been serving the Lincoln Park / Lakeview neighborhood for decades and has been in its current location since the mid-80s. We have five regular barbers on staff- Cathy, David, Greg, R.J. and Wayne. All of us trained in barber colleges throughout the midwest and have anywhere from 9 to 40+ years experience in the field. We are familiar with both traditional and modern styles.

We accept clients on a first-come, first served basis. No appointments or reservations. We use a chalk board to keep track of who's waiting.  If we're busy you may put your name on the list and go out for a while (please note- door is locked promptly at closing time).  Clients are welcome to request the barber of their choice.  If you are requesting a specific barber please write and circle his or her initial after your name on the chalk board when you sign in.

Our haircuts are $14 and include the option of a straight-razor, hot lather shave on the back of the neck.  Beard trims are $5. We do not do face shaves.  Cash only.  We do not accept credit/debit cards or checks.

We have dozens of current magazines and free wi-fi internet access for your enjoyment.

Closest Brown/Purple Line station is Wellington (3.5 blocks).

Closest Red Line station is Belmont (5 blocks)

Additional Bicycle Racks are available in Century mall garage, behind the 5/3 ATM booth.

Parking is available on-street and at the nearby Century Shopping Center garage. We do not provide or validate parking.
